Strothoff International School Rhein-Main, founded in 2009 in Dreieich just south of Frankfurt, is an IB World School authorized for the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes since March 2011. It is distinctive in Germany for interweaving the state-recognized Hessian framework curriculum with the IB, so students can graduate with German-recognized qualifications (Mittlere Reife, Abitur-equivalent IB Diploma) as well as internationally portable ones (IB Diploma, a NEASC/CIS-aligned High School Diploma).
