From Boardroom to Classroom: A Mother's Mission

Priscilla Han brings the analytical rigor of a Chief Investment Officer, the empathy of a mother of three, and a deep understanding of child development to every family she works with.

Priscilla Han — BrightKey founder

Her Story

Priscilla is a mother of three who has navigated the complex education landscape firsthand — in the last 20 years, across Singapore, UK, Australia and Japan. She guided her eldest daughter through Singapore's full education system, from primary school to university applications — ultimately receiving 7 offers including the University of Edinburgh, University of Melbourne, and University of Amsterdam. For her two sons in Tokyo, she went through it all again — hoikuen, international preschools, and school selection in a completely different system. She knows the anxiety, the conflicting advice, the sleepless nights wondering if you're making the right choice.

But Priscilla isn't just any parent. Before becoming a mother, she built a career at Goldman Sachs and Deloitte, then became Chief Investment Officer at Reapra, a Singapore-based venture builder. She sits on the board of a Nasdaq-listed company and has taught at General Assembly.

At Reapra, Priscilla supported 50+ entrepreneurs and managed a 100+ company portfolio, using interdisciplinary frameworks to understand their fit for entrepreneurship — exploring their motivations, childhood experiences, personal narratives, and motivation and decision making. It was through this deep work with founders that she developed a profound understanding of human development, career alignment, and what drives people to thrive.

She realized the same frameworks that help adults find their path could be applied much earlier — to children and teenagers standing at the crossroads of their education. The patterns she saw in entrepreneurs who struggled because their degrees confined them to limited roles in their career with little or no satisfaction became the foundation of BrightKey's approach: help families, students make a more purposeful choice the first time.

Today, Priscilla combines this rare expertise — the analytical rigor of a CIO, the human insight of someone who has coached hundreds through life-defining decisions, and the lived experience of a mother — to guide families through the education decisions that shape their children's futures.

Her Philosophy

Research-informed guidance.

Priscilla believes in doing the work to create optionality for the future of our children — not the trendy thing, not the prestigious thing, but what truly serves them. Her recommendations are grounded in the latest scientific research on brain development: how children's brains develop differently at each stage, how teenage decision-making matures, and what neuroscience tells us about the environments where young people actually thrive.

But she's also deeply pragmatic. She knows what top universities and employers are looking for. She understands the admissions game — the essays, the extracurriculars, the interviews. She practices the care and thoughtfulness every parent carries for their children. Her approach bridges both worlds: build the foundation that's genuinely best for your child's development, while strategically positioning them for the schools that will open the right doors.

The BrightKey Methodology

A unique framework that combines world-class business strategy with deep understanding of child development.

Child Development Insight

Decisions grounded in research-informed understanding of how children grow — critical developmental stages, how teenagers process risk and identity, and what environments foster genuine cognitive and emotional growth.

Interdisciplinary Assessment

The same frameworks Priscilla used to assess 50+ entrepreneurs across a 100+ company portfolio — understanding motivations, strengths, childhood narratives, and personal fit — now applied to help students discover who they are before choosing where to go.

Ikigai Career Alignment

Borrowed from Japanese philosophy and refined through years of coaching — find the intersection of what your child loves, what they're good at, what the world needs, and what can sustain them. Before choosing a university, not after.

Strategic Pragmatism

Priscilla knows what schools want. She evaluates universities like she evaluates startups — outcomes data, teaching quality, alumni networks, and long-term value. The right thing for your child AND the smart thing for their application.
