🇨🇦 International Schools in Vancouver

6 schools, profiled on verifiable public data.

Vancouver is Canada's Pacific gateway, drawing globally-mobile and relocating families through its immigration flows, universities, technology and film industries, and a dense cluster of foreign consulates across Metro Vancouver. Canada has no national school inspectorate: education is a provincial responsibility, and in British Columbia the Ministry of Education and Child Care certifies independent schools and inspects them for curriculum and regulatory compliance (classifying them Group 1 through 4), but this is a certification regime rather than a single graded public inspectorate that publishes an Outstanding- or Good-style quality band per school. Because there is no equivalent of Dubai's KHDA bands or a British BSO inspection verdict, we tier Vancouver schools on verifiable accreditation depth (CIS, and independent-school memberships) and curriculum authorisation only, capped at A — S is reserved for schools with a genuine graded public inspection verdict. Most schools here publish their curricula, ministry classification, and fees, but few disclose standardised university-placement outcomes or IB score distributions; where a figure is not published we say so rather than estimate. Any university-placement claims are recorded as school-reported and unverified.
