Application strategy
Applications are made through UCAS with a January 25 deadline for equal consideration. Typical offers range from IB 32-36 points (with subject-specific requirements at Higher Level) or A-Level grades of AAB to AAA depending on programme competitiveness. Pharmacy and Medicine require AAA with specific science subjects. English language requirements are IELTS 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in each component for most programmes, rising to 7.0 for Medicine and Law. No SAT or ACT is required for US applicants; AP scores of 4-5 in relevant subjects are accepted as alternatives to A-Levels. Students admitted to the UK campus can transfer to the China (Ningbo) or Malaysia (Semenyih) campus for a semester or full year. The Graduate Route visa provides 2 years post-study work rights (reducing to 18 months from January 2027). First-year accommodation is guaranteed for all international students who apply by the deadline, with most halls located on or adjacent to University Park.
