BSc Mathematics
Carries the Gauss-Hilbert-Noether-Klein heritage materially — Göttingen Mathematics remains one of the strongest German mathematics environments, with research depth in number theory, algebraic geometry, mathematical physics, and applied analysis. Small-group problem-solving sessions (Übungen) are structurally central and faculty engagement in upper-division courses is materially high. BSc Theoretical Physics / MSc Physics
Anchors on the Göttingen Circle quantum mechanics heritage of the 1920s — Werner Heisenberg formulated matrix mechanics here in 1925, and Max Born developed the probabilistic interpretation of the wavefunction.
