Campus and city
IE's flagship campus centers on the striking IE Tower at Maria de Molina 31 in Madrid's upscale Salamanca district, a modern glass structure housing classrooms, co-working spaces, and the IE Library with panoramic city views. Undergraduate programs split time with the Segovia campus, a restored 15th-century convent offering a focused residential experience in a UNESCO World Heritage city 30 minutes from Madrid by high-speed rail. With 75 percent international students from 130+ nationalities, the social scene is genuinely global. Madrid delivers exceptional quality of life: world-class tapas and restaurants, flamenco tablaos, Santiago Bernabeu for Real Madrid matches, Retiro Park for weekend runs, and a nightlife scene running until dawn. The 8,500-student body keeps things intimate compared to 40,000-student Spanish public universities. Student clubs number over 100, from IE Net Impact to the Wine Club. The community is smaller than ESADE's Barcelona network but notably more international, with friend groups spanning continents rather than clustering by nationality.
