Why study in Brazil?
Brazil's elite higher education is dominated by free public universities — USP, Unicamp and UFRJ rank among Latin America's very best at zero tuition, funded by state and federal governments. The catch for international students is access: undergraduate instruction is in Portuguese and admission runs through fiercely competitive Portuguese-medium vestibular exams (FUVEST, Comvest) with no IB/A-Level/AP pathway, so the international undergraduate share is very low and foreigners cluster in exchange and graduate programs.
