🇮🇪 International Schools in Dublin

5 schools, profiled on verifiable public data.

Dublin's international-school options span English-medium IB World Schools, established American and inter-denominational day schools, and private schools that layer international programmes onto the Irish national curriculum. Schools in Ireland are inspected by the Department of Education's Inspectorate, chiefly through Whole-School Evaluation and subject or programme inspections, and reports are published on gov.ie. Crucially, however, that Inspectorate applies most consistently to the state-recognised sector, and it does not issue a single graded verdict band — there is no Irish equivalent of an Ofsted 'Outstanding' or a UAE 'Outstanding' label, and fee-charging international and private schools largely sit outside any graded public ranking. For that reason we cap Dublin schools at an 'A' on the inspection/accreditation dimension: quality here rests on published inspection narrative plus international accreditation (CIS, the IB, Cambridge) rather than a verbatim top graded band. An 'S' would require a genuine verbatim top graded band, which schools in this market generally do not have. Fees are quoted in euros, and all placement figures are treated as school-reported and unverified unless independently sourced.
